Homebrew loot, weapons, armor, and snacks for your tabletop gaming and DM/GM needs
Item: (Un?)Lucky Shirt: automatically triggers traps when the wearer gets within 20 feet. Trap doors pop open, hidden spikes spring out, &c. Not as good when you enter a temple whose ceiling is supposed to only drop when a particular idol gets messed with.
Encounter: the personification of the collective rage of all the old school neckbeard D&D players mad about the new wave of teens turning it into a casual SJW utopia
Item: Ring of the Seven; initially contains seven charges, regaining 1d4 at dawn. After making any dice roll on a d8 or higher, the wearer may use up a charge and instead use a 7.
Item: Ring of Horsefly Summoning, allowing the wearer three times daily to summon a swarm of horseflies to do their commands (source)
Item: Homunculus of Indigestion, roll d1 to give the user indigestion, roll d20 to make enemies vomit. It can throw up when shaken, so please don’t shake it.
Encounter: the Treant equivalent of a bunch of Juggalos; like to get messed up on weed killer. Just as likely to talk your ear off with long winding stories as the classiest of Ents, but their stories are even more pointless and with a lot more swearing.
Item: Shouts, the result of Some Insane Wizard’s experiments with using oozes as data storage: small oozes that can be taught a verbal message to holler incessantly. Unfortunately they tend to accumulate together, so they can wind up all yelling together.

Item: Urn of Leeches; the 100 leeches inside can be used therapeutically or commanded to attack a target creature. Obviously enough leeches attached to a creature would deal some constitution damage, but also it allows you to retrieve some of their blood, which could be used to target spells on them, track them, or if they’re magical enough, as a spell component for some other purpose entirely. Blood from a Xorn or a Chuul gotta be good for something, right?
