Item: collection of jingling johnnies/stump fiddles/pogo cellos, an instrument rooted in the Turkish crescent of near-Eastern military music but adapted into a one-person percussion section for bluegrass. Each unit includes the bottom jinglers, the resonator bass drum, a woodblock, a cowbell, and occasionally a washboard and a few smaller bells.

Incidentally, you never really see bards playing percussion instruments, but you can totally do musical bard spells on a jinglin’ johnny.

Item: Cossack Dad-Guitar (contrabass balalaika) and matching pompadour wig. Playing a funky bassline while making eye contact with a character (that can hear the music) acts as Charm Person, lasting as long as the eye contact is held. Any actions they take while charmed will be made in time with the rhythm. The wig must be in place the entire time; if the wig is removed from the player’s head, the spell ends.
