Item: Bag of Pills. Once per hour, a character may reach in and pull out a handful of unlabeled assorted tablets; a DM may have a player may roll a d20 Knowledge Check (Pharmaceutical/Medical) to identify them, or may use the Potions table here. (Or, you know, put together their own table of magical and mundane meds: Owl’s Wisdom Chewables, Protection From Chaos Gelcaps, Cure Light Wounds PM, &c.)

Item: Wyrm of Lounging, a humongous but docile relative of the Mongolian death-worm that feeds off of feelings of discomfort and weariness; by spending a Short Rest in physical contact with the creature, characters get the effect of a Long Rest. (This does not disqualify them from taking an actual Long Rest, which technically a character can only do once per 24 hours.) As a result, some taverns frequented by adventuring parties and even some barracks or ships might keep one or two Wyrms of Lounging about the place.
