Item: Knob of AC:

  • When worn attached to armor, the knob may be turned to select protection from either Cold or Fire.
  • When the “Max AC” button is pressed, for any armor-based check, the player automatically receives the maximum possible number for the roll for 3d6 rounds, after which the knob falls off, its magic (including the cold/fire protection) depleted.

Item: Shield of Protection Against One: choose one particular weapon and this shield is completely invulnerable to it, stopping all blows completely. Not a weapon type, but one specific weapon, say a rival’s favorite sword or a known assassin’s trademark dagger.
