Encounter: a hideous alligator made of dingy resin and beach detritus, created by a wizard from Florida to defend their garage lair; attacks with slashing claws, crushing jaws, and trap attacks using sixpack rings and old fishing nets that it spits out. Once per hour, it can also attack by vomiting up the corpse of an aquatic creature as a projectile attack (roll d12 to select creature, roll d10 for percentage of the corpse remaining intact)
Item: Rhythm Drones, Construct assistants for Bards that can each store three song-spells, providing +2 on the proficiency bonus. If multiple drones know the same song-spell, their bonuses stack, up to seven of them. Alternatively, their song-spells can be any of the Bard cantrip-spells, which they are able to play on their own without a Bard taking the lead. The songs may be changed out each morning by a trained Bard, just as a magic-user would learn their spells for the day.
Encounter: two Orbinauts, hovering constructs wielding four spiked orbs that may be treated as Dancing Morning-Stars. If an Orbinaut is carefully captured, hollowed out, and worn as a helmet, allows the wearer to gain the four spiked orbs that hover around them and can be willed to fly at targets and recalled. Unlike the Four Wooden Orbs, however, the spiked orbs cannot be deactivated, circling around the helmet even when it is not being worn.
Encounter: Straw Man; likes to argue but has only weak positions, absurd reasoning, and obviously flawed ideas, with no actual intellect, just a compulsion to disagree. Usually constructed by magic-users that like feeling right about everything.
Encounter: Dylamug, lawful-evil construct with three rotating dials of facial expressions for some reason, despite the fact that other constructs from the same realm have been shown capable of a full range of expression on a normal face.
Encountaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa (ahem) sorry, let me start over
Encounter: Charlie, construct-familiar that enjoys casting Thaumaturgy and Confusion at random moments; also, screams a lot. Favorite food: expired candy
