Item: Octobass; requires two normal-sized bards working together to operate, but allows them to cast spells at the level of whichever is higher, with double the range and strength. Alternatively, a giant bard could play it like a fiddle, that would work too

Name: POW Pep, DEF Pep, and SPEED Pep

Debut: Mario and Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story

Look at these things. Such incredibly simple designs. And boy howdy, do I love it! Just an absolute sucker for simple designs over here! Can’t get lost in THESE designs! Unless you count getting lost in their beautiful eyes… wait, where am I?

As you can see, the Peps are a Terrific Trio. There’s the POW Pep, who’s got beefy arms to punch with, and can fuse with other enemies to increase their strength.

Next is DEF Pep, who really doesn’t attack at all, and just sits there being an orb until it fuses with an enemy to increase its defense.

Finally, there’s SPEED Pep, with legs for dashing around, and even tripping the Mario Bros! Like that blue character who goes fast… what was his name… Oh yeah! Dankey Kang. SPEED Pep is the only Pep that does not fuse with enemies to boost stats, because it simply does not have the time. Also, it has a dorsal fin or something.

Peps are especially important to me because they helped me in science class, kind of! I first played Bowser’s Inside Story when I was a wee one, and then when I had my first biology class, and we were learning about proteins… which are held together by PEPtide bonds! But that’s not all! Let’s go over some of the key functions of proteins…

Providing structure and support to strengthen cells and tissues!

Protecting the body from infection!

Providing energy and transporting molecules!

I don’t know if it’s intentional or not, but there you have it. Funny Jumping Man Game is educational! But you should still go to school though, probably. Just in case there’s anything Mario hasn’t covered yet.

Encounter: PEPs, ethereal creatures with no ability or urge to attack, but can be bonded to creatures to increase their stats.

The Ansaldo MIAS/MORAS 35,

An Italian creation by the Ansaldo corporation in 1935, the

Motomitragliatrice blindata d’assaulto (MIAS) was a one man tracked vehicle intended to give infantry a little bit of extra armor and firepower. The MIAS featured a 250cc (5 horsepower) engine which could propel the vehicle at 5 kilometers an hour forward, and 2 kph in reverse. Incredibly, the MIAS lacked at seat for it’s one man crew, thus the crewman had to scooch around in a squatting position with the vehicle as it moved. It had armor that was rated to deflect 7.92x57mm Mauser rounds at the front, and 6.5x52mm Carcano rounds at the sides. However these ratings only counted for standard ball ammunition, any kind of armor piercing ammunition would easily pierce the vehicle’s armor at any point.  The MIAS was armed with a 6.5mm machine gun with 1,000 rounds. As counterpart to the MIAS, Ansaldo also created the Moto-mortaio blindato d’assaulto (MORAS), which utilized the exact same vehicle, only with the machine gun replaced with a Brixia Model 35 mortar which fired high explosive .5kg shells with fifty rounds of ammunition.

Neither the MIAS or the MORA made it beyond prototype stage, the Italian Army deeming it impractical for modern warfare.
