Cryptoleporidae of the Western World:
Top left: jackalope, USA and Canada
Top right: rasselbock (fanged type), Thuringia
Bottom left: Wolpertinger, Bavaria
Bottom right: Skvader, Sweden

Item: spell-recharging sno-cone in a fancy serving-glass

Encounter: the Queen of Brazil

Item: giant stone USB drive left at the magical library by some giant. They called and it apparently super important that they get it back, important enough that the library administrators want to hire an adventure party to take it back to them.
Name: Pigarithm and Hogarithm
Debut: Super Paper Mario
Pigarithm is the kind of thing that could only exist thanks to Super Paper Mario. A triple pig fusion! And a maths joke, too.
Each time you hit them, they’ll lose a piggy. But this also makes them smaller, faster, and harder to hit. The last one is so slippery that stomping him will shower you with coins! This is pretty much the best way to grind money, so if you want to buy Tiptron (spoilers for an 11 year old game?), you’d better get used to that snout. Or snouts.

Item: Rising Tie; casts Hideous Laughter on female creatures, apparently.

Encounter: robot trained to smash your camera

Item: cell phone from the future full of what appear to be stock photos and a single contact number with the name “SAVIOUR.exe”

Item: car with a giant’s fist mounted on the front, kept alive by magic; while engaging in vehicular combat, can be used to deliver punches with10d6 Force damage, or to grab them (enemies roll save against being grappled)
Encounter: Reddobatton, adorable winged humanoid that appears at first to be part bat, wanting to join the party and be helpful; only too late, when the party is asleep and she starts draining everyone of their blood, do you realize she’s actually part stirge.
