Encounter: an Archon of Light whose true name would take one thousand of your mortal years to pronounce, so you can call them Ax Fart for short. Ask them to show you why
Item: Wig of Manager Speaking, grants the wearer a Force of Personality bonus that adds +5 on Charisma checks without making the character any more likeable, and also giving them the ability to bypass due process and make demands directly to the person in charge and, if that person cannot help them, information about how to find their boss.
Item: Portable Oven Door; contains a portal into a standard cooking oven. Originally issued by a prestigious cooking school to all its students during their final year of training as they travel abroad to learn new recipes.
Encounter: Bite the Antipaladin; can see thermal heat signatures with the giant purple eye, Detect Alignment with the green one. Advantage on intimidation checks, disadvantage on grappling and other arm-based dexterity checks. In fact, I think if you could get a Halfling on his back stabbing him in the neck, I don’t personally see how he could get them off while he’s elbow-deep in a couple of giant skulls, unless he wanted to start swinging that hook-on-a-chain at them.
Encounter: Flamiena, a Harpy that had her wings swapped out for another pair of legs, granting her a second set of claws.
Encounter: Dethrod, a shambling creature made of six brightly-colored skeletons, its unholy power bolstered by tossing a couple of hot rod engines into the mix, belching out clouds of necrotic-damage-dealing smoke from the exhaust pipes as it scrambles around slashing at anything alive.
Encounter: a giant heart that can shoot teal fire from its valves, whip enemies with its thorny black tendrils, shoot rays of Charm Creature from its nipplies, and probably deliver a good swift kick as well
